The room is the anchor. If the window changes shape or the coffee cup slides every time the season changes, a relaxing train video becomes a distraction. This workflow keeps one carriage, one viewpoint and one cup while the landscape outside moves through spring, summer, autumn and winter.
It plans four six second clips in Arcloop, supported by five photographic references. The images are generated outside Arcloop with the built in image tool. No finished journey, seamless loop or listening result is claimed.
Build a Four-Season Train Window Video Step by Step
Step 1. Decide what stays still and what moves
The camera is fixed to the carriage. The table, window frame, sage seat and cream cup remain in the same place. The landscape moves from right to left, with nearby trees traveling faster than a distant saddle-shaped mountain. Steam may rise gently, but the cup should not creep across the table.
| Clip | Duration | Exterior change |
|---|---|---|
| Spring | 6 seconds | Fresh green meadow |
| Summer | 6 seconds | Fuller foliage and rich green |
| Autumn | 6 seconds | Ochre and russet trees |
| Winter | 6 seconds | Snow on the same terrain |
The four separate requests form a planned 24 second edit. A season changes at the edit boundary, not midway through each clip.
Step 2. Prepare a locked interior and four seasonal starts

Reference 1. Lock carriage geometry, cup position and opening season. A fixed train-table view with a cream cup and spring landscape outside.
File: carriage-anchor.png.

Reference 2. Change only the season outside the locked carriage. The same carriage and cup with a lush summer meadow outside.
File: summer-window.png.

Reference 3. Provide autumn exterior without changing furniture. The same carriage and cup with ochre autumn trees outside.
File: autumn-window.png.

Reference 4. Provide winter exterior without changing the cup. The same carriage and cup with snow outside the window.
File: winter-window.png.

Reference 5. Check the invariant prop, handle direction and table contact. Close photographic detail of the cream cup, saucer and walnut tabletop.
File: cup-detail.png.
Use the spring frame as the interior anchor for all three later seasonal images. Keep the window edges, horizon height, table grain, cup position and handle direction. The close cup reference makes the rim, saucer contact and handle easy to inspect; it is not a new full-scene camera angle.
Reference image prompts
Image 1: carriage-anchor.png
Generate a new image without reference inputs.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Photorealistic quiet train-carriage interior, one rectangular window, warm walnut table and sage fabric seat edge, a single plain cream ceramic cup and matching saucer in the lower left, cup handle pointing right. Camera fixed at seated eye height facing the window diagonally, 16:9. Outside is a distant mountain with a distinctive saddle-shaped summit and a low meadow in spring green. Gentle overcast daylight, tactile wood and ceramic, natural steam only. No people, text, logos, cartoon, second cup or interior decorations.
Image 2: summer-window.png
Use the following source images in this order: carriage-anchor.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Input image 1 is the exact locked camera and interior reference. Change only the landscape season outside the window to rich summer meadow green, fuller foliage and clearer high daylight while keeping the same saddle-shaped mountain, horizon height and track-side terrain. Preserve every interior edge, window framing, walnut table, sage seat, cream cup, saucer, handle direction and cup position. Photographic realism, no new interior props, passengers or text.
Image 3: autumn-window.png
Use the following source images in this order: carriage-anchor.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Input image 1 is the exact locked camera and interior reference. Change only the exterior season to ochre and russet autumn trees with the same saddle-shaped mountain, meadow, horizon and terrain. Keep outdoor light soft enough for the same interior exposure. Preserve window geometry, walnut table, sage seat edge, cream cup and saucer in lower left, handle to right and cup placement. One coherent photoreal frame, no new people or interior objects.
Image 4: winter-window.png
Use the following source images in this order: carriage-anchor.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Input image 1 defines exact camera and entire train interior. Change only the exterior to quiet winter: snowy meadow, bare trees and the identical saddle-shaped mountain with snow on its slopes. Same horizon and terrain, pale soft daylight, not night. Keep window geometry, walnut tabletop, sage seat, plain cream cup and saucer lower left and handle to right unchanged. No extra blanket, lights, people, gift, text or falling snow inside the carriage.
Image 5: cup-detail.png
Use the following source images in this order: carriage-anchor.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Use image 1 as the exact cup, saucer, handle direction and table reference. New close photographic detail of the one plain cream cup resting on matching saucer on walnut table, its handle still to the right. A little natural steam above dark coffee, credible ceramic contact shadow and readable rim, soft window light. No spoon, second cup, writing, logos or people. This detail supports prop consistency; do not use it as an alternate full-scene camera view.
Compare the seasonal stills before animating. If the winter version adds blankets, lamps or another window, correct it rather than treating every new decoration as a harmless seasonal detail. The point is to change the outside while keeping the inside familiar.
Step 3. Generate one clip from each seasonal image
In an Arcloop project, add the four approved seasonal images. Make four separate Vidu Q4 Preview image to video requests, six seconds and 720p each, using the single corresponding image. The wide image supplies the 16:9 frame.
Keep cup-detail.png for review, not as an extra input in a single-image task. Replace bracketed filenames in the prompts with the real uploaded asset mention.
Complete video prompts
Request 1: Spring
Vidu Q4 Preview, image-to-video, 6 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach carriage-anchor.png.
Use [carriage-anchor.png] as the single starting image. One six second photorealistic fixed-camera train-window ambience shot in spring. Preserve the exact window frame, walnut table, sage seat edge, one plain cream cup on one matching saucer at lower left, cup handle pointing right, camera angle and indoor exposure. The camera is fixed inside a moving train, not floating outside. Only the exterior scenery travels smoothly from right to left; nearby grass or trees move faster than the distant saddle-shaped mountain, which changes position very little. Keep the spring weather and foliage consistent for the whole clip. A thin natural wisp of steam may rise from the cup; the cup and coffee level do not slide or deform. Quiet rail rhythm and very low carriage tone, no voice or music. No other season appearing inside this clip, no new people, decorations, lights, text, logos, camera pan, cuts, cartoon or seamless-loop claim.
Request 2: Summer
Vidu Q4 Preview, image-to-video, 6 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach summer-window.png.
Use [summer-window.png] as the single starting image. One six second photorealistic fixed-camera train-window ambience shot in summer. Keep the summer weather and foliage consistent for the whole clip.
Request 3: Autumn
Vidu Q4 Preview, image-to-video, 6 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach autumn-window.png.
Use [autumn-window.png] as the single starting image. One six second photorealistic fixed-camera train-window ambience shot in autumn. Keep the autumn weather and foliage consistent for the whole clip.
Request 4: Winter
Vidu Q4 Preview, image-to-video, 6 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach winter-window.png.
Use [winter-window.png] as the single starting image. One six second photorealistic fixed-camera train-window ambience shot in winter. Keep the winter weather and foliage consistent for the whole clip.
The Q4 guide describes this single-starting-image workflow. The other seasons are separate starting references, not ending frames or a promise of automatic seasonal interpolation.
Step 4. Approve one motion treatment before repeating it
Review the Spring task summary, reference and credit estimate first. Choose generated audio if you want to try the rail ambience in the prompt. Check the direction and speed of the exterior before spending on the other seasons.
If the camera pans around the carriage, state that it is fixed to the train. If the mountain moves as quickly as the foreground, ask for slower distant motion. If the cup wobbles, reduce motion in the whole scene instead of adding another camera instruction.
Use the same accepted motion brief for the remaining requests, changing only the assigned seasonal image and season name. That gives you something meaningful to compare.
Step 5. Match the seasons and build the ambience edit
In your editor, line up the four clips and compare window corners, cup rim, handle and horizon at every boundary. Try a simple cut first. A short dissolve can soften a transition, but it cannot repair two different cup positions or window shapes.
Listen across the joins. Four independent audio generations may have different rail rhythms or room noise. You can use a continuous authorized ambience track and blend it externally. Do not simply repeat a six second clip for an hour and call the boundary seamless without watching and listening to the joins.
Keep the final title honest about length and style. This is a generated seasonal journey, not a recording of a real route, and a calming intention is not evidence of a sleep or health benefit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the four seasons have to fit into one generation?
No. This workflow uses four separate requests. That lets you inspect the interior before each season is animated and avoids promising a longer unsupported single clip.
Why is there a fifth image if only four are animated?
The fifth is a detailed prop reference for review. It makes the cup's form and placement easier to compare without changing the wide camera setup.
Can I make a long ambience video from these clips?
You can assemble a longer edit, but you still need to check repeats, transitions, sound continuity and any visible jumps. Arcloop generation and external long-form assembly are separate steps here.
What should I include in the budget?
Four initial clip requests, reference preparation, retries and any external audio or editing work. Check current in-product estimates. No fixed cost or automatic perfect loop is claimed.
