An unusual material gets attention, but a visible point of contact gives the action weight. This example uses a cloud-shaped loaf with a faintly luminous interior. Its crust, cutting board and knife remain ordinary while the inside supplies the impossible detail.
The five references and prompts below are a planned Arcloop production, not a completed audio test. The glow is a fictional visual effect, not a claim about real bread or an edible product. Images are prepared outside Arcloop with the built in image tool.
Make a Tactile ASMR Scene Step by Step
Step 1. Limit the surprise to one material change
Do not combine a glowing loaf with floating tools, changing backgrounds and a camera orbit. Keep the board dark, the backdrop beige and the light soft. The viewer should see where the blade touches, when the crust gives way and what the cut reveals.
| Request | Duration | Action and sound |
|---|---|---|
| Cut | 12 seconds | One slow cut, soft crust crackle, then the slice settles |
| Detail | 4 seconds | A quiet look at the exposed crumb with a few crumbs settling |
The combined edit is planned at 16 seconds, made from two requests. Timing describes the intended rhythm, not exact frame control.
Step 2. Prepare the intact loaf, tool and interior separately

Reference 1. Define loaf identity, board and lighting. A pale cloud-shaped bread loaf on an unmarked black stone board.
File: whole-loaf.png.

Reference 2. Keep the cutting tool and hand pose readable. A plain bread knife held safely above the charcoal cutting board.
File: knife-reference.png.

Reference 3. Provide a clean opening pose before cutting. The knife begins one cut on the intact cloud-shaped loaf.
File: cut-start.png.

Reference 4. Define the invented cross-section without losing the crust. A cut cloud loaf reveals a pale luminous airy interior.
File: interior-material.png.

Reference 5. Show the cut surface and crumbs for close inspection. Macro detail of porous bread crumb, thin crust and a few crumbs.
File: crumb-detail.png.
The intact loaf fixes silhouette and crust. The knife image makes the grip and blade shape explicit. The starting pose fixes where the cut begins. The cross-section defines the invented interior. The macro reference shows the texture the ending should make visible.
The cut interior is a target material, not the opening state. If the generator begins with the loaf already sliced, that difference has been lost. Keep the whole-loaf and final-material roles distinct in the request.
Reference image prompts
Image 1: whole-loaf.png
Generate a new image without reference inputs.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Photoreal tactile studio food reference. One small original bread loaf shaped like a soft three-lobed cloud, a gently browned matte crust dusted lightly with flour, on a flat unmarked charcoal stone cutting board. Pale beige background, warm soft side light, clear cast shadow, realistic flour and pores. Whole loaf intact with no cut or knife, no face, hands, lettering, packaging or glow. A believable food prop for a surreal visual effect, landscape close-up.
Image 2: knife-reference.png
Generate a new image without reference inputs.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Realistic close photographic reference of one plain stainless serrated bread knife with a dark unmarked handle, held in a natural adult right hand above an empty flat charcoal stone board. Blade points away from the hand, fingers correctly wrapped around handle, no contact with skin. Warm soft side lighting and beige background. No bread, second hand, blood, logos, engraving or writing; complete blade and gripping fingers visible.
Image 3: cut-start.png
Use the following source images in this order: whole-loaf.png, knife-reference.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Image 1 defines the intact three-lobed loaf, stone board and lighting. Image 2 defines knife and natural gripping hand. Create a matching photographic opening keyframe of the serrated blade just touching the top crust at the right third of the loaf, before a slice separates. One hand holding handle; no other hand near blade, no duplicate knife. Preserve whole loaf silhouette, board position, beige backdrop and material texture. No magical effect yet.
Image 4: interior-material.png
Use the following source images in this order: whole-loaf.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Use image 1 for loaf shape, lightly browned crust, charcoal board, beige backdrop and warm side light. New conceptual material reference: the right third has been cut away as one intact slice beside the larger loaf; cross-section has delicate white aerated bread crumb with a very faint cool glow deep inside, like luminous mist caught in pores. The outer crust remains real bread. No liquid spill, sparks, sky landscape or second loaf; no knife or hands. An intentionally surreal food visualization, not real edible product evidence.
Image 5: crumb-detail.png
Use the following source images in this order: interior-material.png.
Use case: photorealistic-natural. Asset type: original video production reference. One coherent photographic frame, landscape 16:9 unless a different ratio is specified. Real material texture, believable lighting and scale. No text, captions, logos, watermark, UI, illustration or cartoon. Use image 1 for exact invented bread interior and crust. Extreme macro photographic crop of the cut edge, showing small aerated pores, subtle pale light from deep crumb, thin floury crust and a few crumbs touching the charcoal board. The surface is porous food, not plastic, cotton candy, glass or foam rubber. Keep warm side light and cool faint internal light distinct. No hands, knife, captions or extra objects. This is a material close-up reference.
Check the hand in the still. Reject extra fingers, a blade passing through the handle, or a second hand near the cutting edge. A careful prompt is not a reason to keep a visibly broken pose.
Step 3. Direct one cut and name the sound at contact
In your Arcloop project, attach the four references named for Cut. Choose Vidu Q4 Preview, reference to video, twelve seconds, 720p, 16:9 and generated audio enabled. Replace bracketed filenames with real uploaded asset mentions.
The prompt asks for a small crust crackle followed by quieter compression. It does not ask for continuous loud crunching regardless of what happens on screen. The Detail request uses its own starting image in image to video, four seconds and 720p.
Complete video prompts
Request 1: Cut
Vidu Q4 Preview, reference-to-video, 12 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach whole-loaf.png, knife-reference.png, cut-start.png, interior-material.png.
Create one continuous twelve second photorealistic surreal food ASMR shot. [whole-loaf.png] defines one intact three-lobed cloud-shaped bread loaf, matte lightly browned floury crust, charcoal stone board and beige studio backdrop. [knife-reference.png] defines one plain serrated bread knife and one natural adult right hand holding its handle safely. [cut-start.png] defines composition before the slice separates, not a second loaf. [interior-material.png] defines only the invented final cross-section: airy white bread crumb with a faint cool glow deep in the pores. Begin with the intact loaf. First two seconds hold the blade touching its right third. Over the next seven seconds make ONE slow believable sawing cut through bread, one hand on the handle, no fingers near the blade. Over the final three seconds let the one cut slice settle a small distance to the right, exposing the pale luminous crumb. Outer crust and board stay unchanged. Fixed close camera, warm side light, visible contacts, no cuts. Sound: soft crust crackle followed by quieter crumb compression, low background noise, no speech or music. No extra knife, second loaf, liquid spill, sparks, body injury, text, logos, cartoon, dramatic camera movement or explosive glow. The glowing interior is a fictional visual effect, not a real product claim.
Request 2: Detail
Vidu Q4 Preview, image-to-video, 4 seconds, 720p, 16:9. Attach crumb-detail.png.
Use [crumb-detail.png] as the only starting frame. One four second photorealistic macro ASMR detail of the same cut cloud bread, thin crust and porous faintly luminous crumb above the charcoal board. Camera stays still; only a few tiny already-visible crumbs settle gently onto the board. No new cut or new slice, hands, knife, smoke, liquid or added objects. Preserve porous texture rather than changing it to plastic or glass. Very faint dry crumb sounds and quiet studio ambience, no music, voice, text, logo or animation. An editorial close detail after a separate cutting shot; a seamless match is not guaranteed.
Generated sound is optional in the documented Q4 workflow. Its availability does not establish that a specific cutting sound will line up correctly in your result.
Step 4. Review picture and sound as two separate checks
Check references and the displayed estimate before approving. Generate Cut first. Watch once muted: is there one knife, one loaf and one cut? Does the slice remain connected until the blade has passed through? Does the outer crust keep its material?
Then listen without watching. The quiet sections should leave room for the contact sound. Finally watch and listen together. A loud crack before the blade touches is a timing problem even if the sound is pleasant by itself.
If the inside turns into a sky landscape, simplify the material direction to airy crumb with a faint glow. If the slice jumps off the board, reduce its travel and ask it only to settle beside the loaf.
Step 5. Finish the detail shot without hiding mismatches
Generate Detail only after the cut material is acceptable. In your editor, match its color, board and orientation to the cutting shot. A hard cut can work better than a dissolve that creates two overlapping knives or crust edges.
If the generated sound is late or too loud, replace or align it using audio you created or have permission to use. That is an external finishing step, not a claim of precise audio editing inside Arcloop. Do not advertise a seamless loop unless you have actually checked the first and last frames and the audio boundary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to record a real knife performance?
Not for this image-reference recipe. The images define a planned grip and action. No real cutting demonstration has been recorded for the article, and the generated hand must still be inspected.
Can I use a different material reveal?
Yes. Replace the intact object and the cross-section together, then choose one action that reveals the difference. Keep a clear boundary between invented effects and real product claims.
Does generated audio guarantee ASMR quality?
No. Listen for noise, harshness, repeated clicks and contact timing. Adjust volume or use authorized replacement sound if necessary; pleasantness is something to judge, not a model setting.
What affects the budget?
The selected model, two clip lengths, resolution, audio setting, reference preparation and retries. Check current estimates in Arcloop. No fixed cost or audience response is assumed.
