  1. Open your IP Project at /creative/worlds and go to My Assets. Create a Character asset for each recurring character — give them a name, upload their reference image to Library, and Bind it as Main image.

  2. If a character has a second costume or a key prop (like a bronze bell), upload that image too and Bind it as Reference image on the same asset. One asset, multiple references — you do not need separate assets per outfit.

  3. Go to your Episode and click Generate Shots. ArcLoop breaks the episode into shot cards. Open each card and write or edit the shot description: start with @CharacterName, then add only what is new in this shot — the action, shot size, camera movement, lighting. Skip anything already in the asset.

  4. Generate the image for each shot card first. Confirm face, costume, and blocking before you touch video. If something is off, fix the shot description and regenerate the image — not the video.

  5. Once images look right, open AI Chat Panel and type: Generate videos for Shots 1, 2, and 3. You can batch shots in one message instead of clicking each one.

  6. Take the approved shots into Edit, arrange them on the timeline, trim durations, and add voiceover or BGM. If one shot needs a redo, swap only that clip — the rest stay.

Open your IP Project in ArcLoop and go to the Episode page. Click Generate Shots — the AI breaks your concept brief into individual shot cards. For each card, check: does it have a clear single action, a shot size, and an assigned character?

In your ArcLoop IP Project, open My Assets and create a new Character asset named Xu Nanzhi. Upload her reference image to Library, then Bind it as Main image.

Add a second image showing her holding the bronze bell as a Reference image. In the asset description, note: short curly hair, gray-blue apron, silver earring right ear. Do not describe these again in shot cards — use @Xu Nanzhi instead.

To check the asset is working: go to an Episode, write a shot card using @Xu Nanzhi, generate the image, and confirm the face and costume match without any extra description.

In ArcLoop, open the Episode and review each shot card before generating video. For each of the 8 shots, check the description against these fields: face stable, costume matches @Xu Nanzhi asset, blocking clear, eyeline makes sense, one action only.

For shots that pass image review, use AI Chat Panel: Generate videos for Shots 1, 2, and 3.

For shots with face drift — rewrite the shot description, regenerate the image first, confirm it, then generate video. For reversed blocking — fix the camera angle note in the shot card, regenerate. Do not regenerate the full episode; fix only the shot that broke.

Ways This Goes Wrong

The first mistake is asking "which tool is best" first. Without a workflow and a specific pain point, that question doesn't have an answer.

The second mistake is judging only by generation speed. Fast but unable to reuse a character means patching faces, costumes, and voices later.

The third mistake is treating a one-click preview as the finished deliverable. Producing a preview isn't the same as sustaining a series.
