How to Edit AI-Generated Videos in Arcloop: Tips & Best Practices

What is editing?

Editing is the final step that turns storyboard videos into a finished piece.

An episode may contain multiple storyboards, and each storyboard can generate a video clip. When you open the editing page, those clips are imported as assets. You can add them to the timeline and shape them into the final video.

You can use the editing page to:

  • Import storyboard videos
  • Manage video and audio assets
  • Add video clips to the main track
  • Add audio to the audio track
  • Rearrange clip order
  • Trim video length
  • Split clips
  • Generate voiceover
  • Generate music
  • Preview the final result
  • Export the video
  • Publish the video

How do you open the editing page?

After entering an episode, switch to the Video or Editing page.

If the episode already has storyboard videos, Arcloop will automatically import them into the asset library. You will see the video clips available for the current episode.

If no video is available yet, go back to the storyboard page and generate videos for your storyboards first.

How do you add storyboard videos to the timeline?

On the left side of the editing page, or in the asset area, you can see the imported video assets.

A typical flow is:

  1. Open the Assets tab
  2. Find the video clip you want to use
  3. Click Add to Main Track
  4. Adjust the clip order on the timeline
  5. Preview the full result

If a clip does not work, you can remove it from the timeline without deleting the original storyboard.

How do you adjust video pacing?

After adding video clips to the timeline, you can adjust them based on the rhythm of the story.

For example, if a scene feels too slow, trim the extra pause. If the emotion is not clear enough, move a character reaction shot earlier.

How do you add voiceover?

The editing page includes a Voiceover tab.

You can select a storyboard or enter text to generate a voice asset. After generation, the voiceover is added to the asset library.

Then you can add the voiceover to the audio track so it plays with the video clips.

If the voiceover does not fit, regenerate it or try a different voice direction.

How do you generate music?

The editing page includes a Music tab.

You can enter a music prompt to generate background music that fits the current video.

You can describe:

  • Music mood
  • Use case
  • Tempo
  • Whether it should be instrumental
  • Duration
  • Style direction

Example:

A cool-toned palace suspense atmosphere, with low strings and subtle percussion. Restrained pacing, suitable for a scene where a character first realizes danger.

After generation, the music is added to the asset library. You can add it to the audio track and preview it with the video.

How do you export the video?

When the video, voiceover, and music on the timeline are ready, click Export in the Asset Info area on the right.

During export, the system combines the timeline content. You may see progress states such as processing, rendering, or composing.

After export is complete, you can download the final video.

If export fails, check:

  • Whether the timeline has video clips
  • Whether the video processing component has finished loading
  • Whether any asset failed to load
  • Whether the network is stable

How do you publish the video?

If you want to publish the finished video to the platform, click Publish.

Before publishing, preview it once and confirm:

  • The video order is correct
  • Voiceover is aligned with the visuals
  • Music volume feels right
  • There are no extra clips at the beginning or end
  • The content matches the result you wanted

After publishing succeeds, the video will appear as a finished work.
