An episode is where your story becomes more concrete.
If a story is the main arc, an episode is one chapter inside that arc. It carries the same world, characters, and story direction, then turns one part of the outline into a focused sequence you can develop, storyboard, and generate as video.
For example, if a palace drama is your IP world, one story might follow a young woman’s rise inside the royal court. Each episode would move one part of that journey forward: her first arrival, her first conflict, a hidden betrayal, a turning point, or a shift in power.
How Episodes Work
Start with an IP world. Create a story. Generate the story outline. Then choose a specific beat or section from that outline and create an episode from it.
Arcloop uses the story setting, character relationships, and outline context to expand that beat into a more detailed episode.
The result is a clearer production target:
- What happens in this episode
- Which characters appear
- Where the conflict starts
- What the mood and pacing should feel like
- Which moments can become shots
- Which parts are ready for image or video generation
What Happens After You Create an Episode
An episode is not the final video yet. It is the story segment that prepares you for visual production.
Once the episode is created, you can review the episode content, adjust the title or story direction, and move into the storyboard page. From there, Arcloop can break the episode into connected shots, generate storyboard images, and turn selected shots into videos.
